A South-North-South Circular Programme for Sustainable Development
TWAS, in collaboration with the Lincei Academy and SISSA, offers young scientists from Least Developed Countries the unique opportunity to visit research laboratories in Trieste (IT) such as SISSA, to carry out research work in scientific fields within the SISSA portfolio.
Research proposals must fall under the umbrella of sustainability science and thus be relevant to areas that support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The programme offers three-month training and cooperation visits of young scientists, aged 40 or less.
Eligible applicants need to hold an MSc or higher degree. Women scientists are especially encouraged to apply.
Travel expenses and subsistence costs for the stay in Italy will be covered by Programme.
Deadline for submission: November 2nd 2020
